Getting Around
Trams, trains and walking

Melbourne Airport (MEL) sits about 25 km from the CBD; bus, rideshare and taxi all run frequently.
Trains
The metro network radiates from the CBD loop; Richmond and Jolimont serve the MCG.
Trams
The world's largest tram network, with a free tram zone covering most of the CBD.
Walking
Melbourne is flat and walkable — the riverside route to the ground is the best way in.
Rideshare
Widely available, but surge pricing after stumps is real. Walk two blocks first.
